• 3+ years of experience in game design for mobile games, gamified apps, or interactive products
• Strong portfolio or case studies demonstrating game systems you designed — economy, progression, engagement loops
• Deep understanding of player psychology: motivation, flow state, variable reward schedules, loss aversion, social proof
• Experience designing difficulty curves and balancing systems that serve diverse user types (casual, hardcore, inconsistent)
• Ability to think in systems — you see how XP, streaks, lives, content difficulty, and narrative connect into one cohesive experience
• Excellent documentation skills — you can write a GDD that an engineer can build from without 10 clarifying meetings
• Familiarity with Duolingo, Memrise, Babbel, or similar gamified learning products — and an opinion on what they do well and what they don't
• Available for a minimum of 10 hours per week

Nice to Have

• Experience in EdTech, educational games, or serious games
• Background in narrative design — writing character dialogue, building story frameworks, defining tone of voice
• Understanding of behavioral science or learning theory (spaced repetition, active recall, zone of proximal development)

We are seeking a high-impact Senior SEO Manager to spearhead organic growth for our global platform. This role requires a blend of high-level strategic architecture and the ability to oversee the core Middle-level operational functions that keep an international platform healthy and competitive.

Key Functions & Responsibilities

1. Senior Strategic Leadership

• Roadmap Architecture: Define the 12-month organic growth strategy, aligning SEO goals with overarching business KPIs.
• AEO & AI Integration: Lead the transition into "Search 2.0" by optimizing for AI-driven engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) and managing AI crawler budgets.
• Technical Advocacy: Act as the primary liaison for the engineering department, ensuring SEO requirements are integrated into the product development lifecycle.

2. Core Middle SEO Operations (Tactical Execution)

• Technical Auditing: Perform regular, deep-dive technical crawls  to identify and resolve indexation issues, 404 errors, and redirect loops.
• On-Page Optimization: Execute systematic updates to meta-tags, header structures, and internal linking across thousands of international URLs.
• Keyword & Intent Mapping: Conduct continuous keyword research to identify emerging trends, mapping them to specific stages of the user journey.
• Preparing technical tasks for authors: experience in preparing tasks for writing highly specialized texts for the content team, taking into account organic growth goals.
• SERP Monitoring: Track daily fluctuations in rankings across multiple regions and languages, providing rapid-response troubleshooting for any sudden traffic drops.
• Backlink Maintenance: Monitor the backlink profile for toxic patterns and coordinate with the content team to identify "linkable asset" opportunities.

3. Data & Reporting

• Performance Analysis: Extract and visualize data from GA4 and GSC to report on month-over-month growth.
• A/B Testing: Design and execute SEO split tests (e.g., testing title tag formats) to validate hypotheses before site-wide rollout.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 years in a Senior or Lead capacity managing international projects.
• Technical Stack: Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JS, SQL (preferred), and advanced Excel/Looker Studio.
• Semantic Mastery: Deep understanding of E-E-A-T and JSON-LD structured data.
• Languages: Advanced English language skills are required
• Project Management: Ability to manage a high volume of "Middle SEO" tasks while maintaining a "Senior SEO" strategic mindset.

The "Edge" (Bonus Skills)

• Experience in Healthcare/Medical SEO (YMYL).
• Academic background in Computer Science or IT.
