## The role
 

This is not a coordination job. You will own delivery outcomes, not just pass messages between people. Our current team is good at executing what they are asked to do — your job is to define what "done" means, verify it is actually done, and make sure nothing reaches a client unchecked. The founder remains the primary relationship holder with clients; you keep the projects moving underneath that.
 

Concretely, you will:
 

1. Handle routine delivery communication with clients in written English — status updates, clarifications, scheduling, handoffs. Strategic and relationship-level communication stays with the founder.
2. Coordinate our freelancers: assign work, set deadlines, unblock people, follow through without being chased, manage Kanban boards well. 
3. Manage client WordPress sites hands-on: build new page sections out of existing elements, edit and update content, and handle routine site management — plugins, updates, users, backups.
4. Run email campaigns in SendGrid, including making small edits directly in HTML email code.
5. Perform final QA on everything before it reaches a client: websites, emails, social posts, designs. You are the last line of defense.
6. Handle hosting and infrastructure basics on Cloudways and Cloudflare — DNS records, deployments, small fixes.
7. Make small edits in Figma yourself, so minor changes go back to the client fast instead of waiting on the designer.
8. Verify scheduled social posts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) go out on the right account, at the right time, with zero typos.
9. Use AI tools as a daily working instrument to figure things out, draft, debug, and check your own work.
10. Build and maintain the checklists and SOPs that make all of the above repeatable.

As the company continues to scale and expand into new markets, we are looking for a Launcher / Founding Country GM to launch a new geography from scratch, build the local supply and operational infrastructure, and ultimately take ownership of the market as an independent P&L.

What we expect from you:

• Proven experience launching a new market, country, or business unit from scratch to measurable results;
• genuine zero-to-one experience: you personally sourced partners, led negotiations, and closed the first deals;
• experience building a partner / supply network or another side of a two-sided marketplace;
• experience hiring the first local team and building operational processes from the ground up;
• strong commercial and operational thinking, with a solid understanding of unit economics, business metrics, and P&L;
• an entrepreneurial mindset, high degree of autonomy, and ability to operate without an established structure or predefined roadmap;

• ability to make fast decisions and take ownership of results in a dynamic, high-risk environment.

   

Nice to have:

• Experience in payments / PSP, FinTech, iGaming, alternative payment methods, banking partnerships, or marketplace businesses;

• experience launching new markets or building supply networks at companies such as Uber, Bolt, Glovo, Careem, inDrive, or other businesses with a similar marketplace model.

   

Key responsibilities:

• Launch a new geography from scratch: personally lead the first 20–30 negotiations, onboard the first traders and payment partners, build the local supply network, and launch the first payment corridor;
• independently hire the first 3–5 employees, including participating in the search for a Head of Supply, and gradually build the local operations and supply teams;
• work closely with the HQ R&D team to adapt the platform to local payment infrastructure, test solutions, and ensure stable product operations;
• build a 24/7 operating model, including pay-in / payout processes, SLAs, escalations, partner communication, and on-call coverage;
• take ownership of the geography’s unit economics and P&L, managing volumes, margins, and costs while driving the market toward break-even;
• within 6–12 months, validate the market’s potential and path to profitability — or provide a well-supported recommendation to close the geography;

• following a successful launch, scale the geography as an independent business unit, with the potential to grow the team to approximately 150–250 people within 2–3 years.

We are looking for skilled and motivated engineer Data engineer to join the innovative team. The Orchestration team manages platforms within Insights Delivery Technology organization and offers self-service solutions designed to empower engineers, data scientists, and analysts to seamlessly perform ETL/ELT operations on data from diverse sources such as Kafka, S3, GCS, BigQuery, and Postgres, and write processed data back to these sources via batch or real-time processes.

As an Orchestration Team Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining this robust platform, ensuring that users can efficiently extract actionable insights without being burdened by the complexities of big data technologies. Your work will enable to client to scale its operations while keeping technical demands on non-engineering staff to a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Platform Support: Perform ongoing production support and on-call support duties. Work with both onsite and offshore resources daily to resolve incidents and issues.
• Platform Development: Evolve, design, and maintain our orchestration platforms which aim to abstract the complexities of big data technologies and simplify ETL/ELT operations for users
• Infrastructure as Code: Provision and manage cloud data infrastructure declaratively with Terraform, delivering self-service platform capabilities through automated, version-controlled pipelines.
• Integration: Develop seamless connectivity to diverse data sources and destinations, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Data Governance & Metadata: Build and operate metadata, cataloging, and data-lineage capabilities that make data across Nordstrom discoverable, trustworthy, and well-governed — including integrations across transformation, streaming, BI, and ML platforms.
• Scalability: Design solutions that are scalable and resilient, capable of handling large data volumes, high velocity, and diverse data formats.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging big data, ETL, and AI-assisted tooling, incorporating them into the framework as needed to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, ensuring users can easily understand and utilize the framework

Skills Required

• Proficiency in SQL (e.g., BigQuery).
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data pipeline architecture, and modern transformation frameworks such as dbt.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with the ability to build and maintain CLIs, services, and automation.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, primarily GCP (BigQuery, Dataproc Serverless, GCS); AWS experience a plus.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code — particularly Terraform — for provisioning and managing cloud data infrastructure.
• Experience building and orchestrating data pipelines with Airflow and Kubernetes.
• Experience with streaming / event data using Kafka (e.g., Confluent Cloud).
• Working understanding of data governance concepts — metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Git-based workflows (GitHub Actions) for platform and pipeline delivery.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted developer tooling — LLMs, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and "copilot"-style productivity tools — and a track record of using them to work more effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with a metadata / data-catalog / lineage platform such as DataHub (or Collibra, Amundsen, or similar).
• Experience with BI / semantic-layer tools such as Looker / LookML.
• Experience with data quality, observability, SLOs / error budgets, and on-call operations for data platforms.
• Familiarity with distributed processing frameworks such as Spark; Java / Scala a plus.

A Junior Project Manager who understands how project delivery works and wants to grow in that direction. Prior experience isn't required — a bit of hands-on experience or a PM/BA course graduate ready to learn on real projects both work.

What matters most isn't formal "years of experience," but being level-headed, self-driven, and good at working with people — both the dev team and clients.

What you need

• Understanding of core project management principles (task setting, prioritization, deadlines, reporting)
• Ability to work with a team: set tasks clearly enough that everyone understands them the same way, and keep track of execution
• Technical basics: understanding what a database and an API are, and a general sense of how these kinds of systems work (deep technical knowledge isn't required, just the gist)

• Languages: Ukrainian/Russian, and English — at a level sufficient for business communication and correspondence

• Client communication: meetings, requirements gathering, status updates
• Regular reporting on progress (to clients and within the team)
