We are seeking a Systems IT & Automation Engineer to manage and optimize our technical environment. This role focuses on supporting BIM software systems, maintaining a secure and efficient Microsoft 365 environment, and improving operations through automation and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

BIM & Software Systems

• Support and troubleshoot Autodesk tools (Revit, Navisworks, ACC)
• Manage and maintain Revit plugins and software environments
• Optimize BIM performance (model handling, worksharing, sync issues)
• Standardize software versions and workflows across teams

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Manage Microsoft 365 tenant (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, groups)
• Create and manage users, licenses, mailboxes, and permissions
• Configure shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and access controls
• Maintain Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive environments for collaboration

Identity, Security & Compliance

• Administer Entra ID (Azure AD): user provisioning, SSO, MFA, RBAC
• Implement conditional access, least-privilege access, and secure onboarding/offboarding
• Manage security tools (Defender for Office 365, Defender for Endpoint)
• Apply DLP, retention policies, and sensitivity labels across M365
• Monitor system activity, alerts, and investigate suspicious behavior

Endpoint & BYOD Management

• Manage devices using Microsoft Intune across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android
• Configure compliance policies, app deployment, and device restrictions
• Enforce standards in a BYOD environment using conditional access and security controls

Hardware & Performance

• Define and enforce minimum hardware requirements for BIM work
• Evaluate and approve team member devices prior to onboarding
• Advise on workstation builds and performance optimization (CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD)

Automation & Integrations

• Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, Power Automate, or APIs
• Build and maintain integrations across internal systems (Autodesk, ERP, HRMS, etc.)
• Reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency

Monitoring, Support & Maintenance

• Monitor system health, service status, and respond to outages or issues
• Provide L1/L2 technical support with priority on production-impacting issues
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system reviews

Documentation & Systems Implementation

• Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and internal documentation
• Lead implementation and rollout of new tools (HRMS, ERP, internal systems)
• Ensure proper setup, configuration, and user adoption

Requirements

• Experience with Autodesk tools (Revit, Navisworks, or similar)
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, conditional access, and RBAC
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
• Knowledge of Microsoft security tools (Defender, DLP, retention policies)
• Strong understanding of Windows systems and computer hardware
• Experience with PowerShell and/or scripting for automation
• Experience with APIs and system integrations
• Basic networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Preferred

• Experience in AEC, BIM, or engineering environments
• Experience managing BYOD or remote teams
• Microsoft certifications (M365, Intune, Security, or Identity)

Required:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years in network or cloud software development. Embedded systems, or advanced network architecture will be a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent English and good communication skills
- Understanding of building IoT ecosystems (devices, gateways, server)
- Back-end development using Ruby-on-rails
- Front end development using bootsrtap css and jquery\html
- Strong MongoDB experience including replication, performance tuning, and scaling strategies (sharding
experience preferred)
- Experience with production database upgrades and migrations.
- Understanding of C\С++ development under Linux\Ubunty
- Experience with CI\CD toolset: Jenkins, Git

Preferred:

- Understanding and some background with Azure and AWS cloud services
- Understanding of networking and security concepts
- Experience with IoT platforms or device management systems is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

1. Own and improve the stability, availability, and performance of the Device Management System
2. Diagnose and resolve complex production issues impacting device connectivity and platform operations.
3. Design and implement MongoDB scaling strategies including replication, sharding, and performance tuning.
4. Optimize database performance for high-volume device check-ins and telemetry workloads.
5. Plan and execute database upgrades with minimal downtime and risk.
6. Ensure backward compatibility across applications, APIs, and device interactions.
7. Lead Linux/Ubuntu upgrades, patching, and system hardening efforts.
8. Improve platform security including access control, authentication, and encryption practices.
9. Develop and maintain backend services (Ruby-on-Rails preferred).
10. Contribute to feature development, architectural improvements, and platform capabilities within the mCloud
    environment as part of ongoing cloud evolution.
11. Support Device Management System migration to new system (in development)
12. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for proactive issue detection.
13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
14. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for system reliability and maintainability.

ROLE
We're looking for a sharp, self-directed PM to own our product roadmap end-to-end. You'll be working directly with the CEO — no middlemen. This is a hands-on role at a lean startup: you'll define specs, run sprints, unblock engineering, and help shape the product strategy as we scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Founder owns the vision and roadmap, you own execution— digital twin, protocol engine, clinician-facing dashboard
- Write specs and user stories; manage backlog in ClickUp
- Run sprint planning and retrospectives with the engineering team
- Bridge, technical and business requirements
- Track KPIs, surface insights, iterate fast
 

REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years PM experience — health tech, medtech, or data-heavy product preferred
- Strong English (you'll communicate directly with the Irish/international founder)
- Startup experience — comfortable owning things without a large support structure
- Structured thinker; writes clear, concise specs
- Familiarity with agile / ClickUp or similar

NICE TO HAVE
- Background in digital health, biomarkers, or clinical data
- Experience with AI/ML product layers or data pipelines
- Knowledge of EU or UAE health tech regulatory landscape
