About the Project

The client is an AI-driven product company building an advanced intelligence platform used by enterprise, government, defense, compliance, logistics, and risk-management teams. Their product helps customers analyze complex real-world data, detect suspicious patterns, investigate risks, and automate decision-making workflows.

The role is part of a new senior AI team focused on building advanced AI workflows, multi-agent systems, LLM-powered product features, and agentic automation.

Scope of work:

• Build backend services and AI-powered product features using Python
• Design and develop LLM-based workflows, agentic systems, and multi-agent architectures
• Work with tool/function calling, RAG, memory, routing, orchestration, state management, and long-running AI workflows
• Integrate AI systems with APIs, data sources, internal services, and product workflows
• Work on evaluation, tracing, monitoring, guardrails, fallbacks, and reliability of LLM/agent outputs
• Collaborate with product, AI, data, backend, and frontend engineers
• Take ownership of architecture, implementation, and production readiness

What we are looking for

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong backend experience with Python
• Real hands-on experience building production AI / LLM / Agentic AI systems
• Experience with multi-agent workflows, tool/function calling, RAG, memory, routing, orchestration, or human-in-the-loop workflows
• Strong backend architecture, system design, APIs, cloud, and production reliability experience
• Experience with tools such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, Google ADK, LlamaIndex, MCP, OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, Gemini, AWS Bedrock, LangSmith, Langfuse, or similar
• AI-first development mindset with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, or similar

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend stack (NextJS, React.js, or similar)
• Experience with Vector DBs
• Helm is a strong plus
