Check Point is looking for a Senior GO Developer to team developing platform in cybersecurity and SaaS for simplifying network security for the modern and distributed workforce by transforming the outdated, complex, hardware-based network security technologies of the past into one unified, easy-to-use, and scalable software solution. You will be part of multi-national distributed team responsible for multiple desktop and mobile device agents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code and services that are part of our Core Network as a Service components.
• Develop advanced services of cloud network solutions.
• Maintain high-performing, scalable, and testable code.

• Practice peer review and collaborative programming.

   

SKILLS

• 5+ years of experience with GO development.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with networking protocols, routing, tunnelling, etc.
• Experience with architecture and design of distributed services / microservices / scalable solutions.
• Experience in a cloud environment.
• BSc in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English.

RESPONSIBILITIES
● Developing custom packages for a specific Linux package management system
● Building (compiling) and testing complex open source projects in a variety of languages and building tools
● Debugging compilation issues (including complex ones) with such projects
● Creating and validation Docker images

SKILLS
● 5+ years of professional experience with Linux
● Strong proficiency in Linux development environments with the flexibility to work in various programming languages
● Hands-on experience with Docker
● Experience working with Yocto Project for building custom Linux distributions
● Proficient in CMake for cross-platform build automation
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Key Requirements:

🔹 6+ years of full stack engineering experience;
🔹 Advanced proficiency in Node.js (5+ years) and at least 1 year of commercial experience with .NET (C#);;
🔹 Advanced proficiency in React and TypeScript;
🔹 Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance engineering productivity, with specific hands-on experience using Claude Code;
🔹 Hands-on experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis;

🔹 Solid understanding of system architecture, automated testing, and security best practices;

REQUIREMENTS

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and develop the design function within the company;
• Improve navigation, usability, and discoverability of platform features;

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience in test automation or development. 

• Strong test design expertise: building coverage for complex business workflows, test data strategies, and risk-based testing. 

• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining GUI/functional automated tests for desktop applications (Windows). 

• Experience with BDD frameworks (behave) or readiness to quickly adopt them. 

• Knowledge of databases and ORM in Python (preferably SQLModel) for test data setup and fixtures. Familiarity with test reporting tools (e.g., Allure) - setting up clear, traceable reports and metrics. 

• Confident use of Git, code review, and technical documentation practices. 

• English level: Intermediate+ or higher (daily communication in the project).
