About the team:
You will be a part of the Data Science team, which produces the search index for all the websiteβs images (content). We use Computer Vision and NLP models to retrieve names, dates, and relationships from various sources, such as Censuses, Birth Certificates, and Newspaper Articles.
One of the teams delivers their models to our team as Python packages through a Model Repository. We create and operate data pipelines in AWS, using Terraform and Python to retrieve images, process them through models, and return the extracted data as JSON messages. Our typical projects process millions of images per day. We focus on throughput, cost, and error handling.
After gaining new knowledge, you will be responsible for learning our deployment pattern and taking ownership of creating and operating several new pipelines.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and optimize scalable back-end services and APIs using Python
- Develop secure, high-performance microservices and data pipelines
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver impactful ML solutions
After gaining mandatory knowledge:
- Perform data analysis and preprocessing using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras
- Maintain and improve MLOps workflows, including model versioning, monitoring, and retraining
- Design, implement, and deploy ML models and algorithms throughout their lifecycle β from development to production
- Optimize models for efficiency, scalability, and real-time inference in production environments
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Python development
- 3+ years of experience with AWS (including EC2, SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda)
- Commercial experience with Terraform
- Strong knowledge and commercial experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
English: Upper-intermediate at least (both spoken and written)
It will be a plus:

This hybrid position (approximately 70β80% content creation and 20β30% sales engineering) bridges TrustNetβs Marketing and Sales functions. The ideal candidate may come from an IT audit, cybersecurity, or compliance operations background and is now seeking a role that blends technical acumen with communication and storytelling.

What you will do in this role
Content Creation (70β80%)
- Research, write, and edit high-quality technical and marketing content, including:
- Blogs, whitepapers, e-books, case studies, and thought-leadership articles.
- Sales enablement materials such as one-pagers, client decks, and product sheets.
- Service page and landing page copy that supports lead generation and conversion.
- Translate complex cybersecurity and compliance concepts (SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, etc.) into engaging, accessible, and technically accurate content.
- Collaborate with SMEs, BDMs, AMs, and the Marketing team to ensure content is aligned with TrustNetβs brand and messaging strategy.

- Ensure all content is optimized for search (SEO/GEO) and conversion (form fills, Calendly bookings, inquiries).

Sales Engineer Support (20β30%)
- Join sales discovery, renewal, and scoping calls to provide technical input and credibility during client conversations.
- Act as a liaison between Sales and Operations β ensuring accurate translation of client requirements into clear scopes of work.
- Assist BDMs and AMs in pricing engagements based on defined parameters and technical complexity.
- Provide subject matter guidance on cybersecurity frameworks, audit readiness, and control environments.
- Support proposal and presentation preparation by ensuring technical precision and alignment with client needs.
- Collaborate with SMEs and delivery teams to clarify scope boundaries and ensure accurate expectations are set pre-sale.
What education you will need
- Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees and certifications (CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are preferred but not required.
What experience is required
- 3β6+ years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, or compliance (e.g., SOC, PCI, ISO, HIPAA).
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to both business and technical audiences.
