We are a dynamic and innovative team working on a cutting-edge project in sports analytics and statistics. With a solid foundation in frontend development, we are now looking for a skilled Python Developer to lead backend implementation and API development.
 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Python Developer with strong expertise in Django, Django Templates, and Django Ninja (experience with FastAPI or DRF is also acceptable).
• Solid understanding of backend development, especially in the context of data-rich applications.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Solr or Elasticsearch.
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and well-documented APIs.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.

Will be a Plus:

• Understanding of sports statistics and analytics, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience integrating third-party sports data providers via APIs.
• Familiarity with responsive design and building user interfaces for data-heavy applications.
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SCSS, and experience with Unpoly.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the backend development and architecture of the platform.
• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance APIs to serve real-time and historical sports data.
• Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration of backend services.
• Work with the team to assess and implement missing features on both frontend and backend.
• Ensure high code quality through unit testing and clean architecture practices.
• Optimize and maintain the performance and scalability of the application.
