We’re hiring a financial analyst to help with monthly management accounts and statutory reporting, support senior team members on ad hoc tasks, and work closely with other departments. The role includes a mix of analytical and operational finance work.

Key responsibilities: 

• Assist senior team members in collecting and reconciling data from multiple internal sources, including trading data, banking and payment systems, and derivatives platforms, to prepare accurate management reports
• Support senior colleagues in preparing statutory reports in accordance with international accounting standards across various jurisdictions
• Work proactively with other departments to gather data, clarify issues, and resolve arising questions to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Contribute to the implementation of new financial reporting, data collection, and operational tools and systems
• Support initiatives aimed at automating, simplifying, and standardizing internal processes within the company

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Financial Analyst or FP&A role
• Strong understanding of management reporting processes and financial data reconciliation
• Proven ability to work with large data sets and proficiency with BI tools for data processing and analysis
• Experience with trading data and / or cryptocurrency transactional data is a significant advantage and a key factor in the hiring decision
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in data management.
• Proactive approach, ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments and external partners.
• Fluent in Ukrainian or Russian (for internal communication)
• English, at least Upper-Intermediate (B2) level for external communication and documentation.

Your tasks 🧑‍💻

• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, overseeing and optimizing the company’s day-to-day operations with deep involvement in all core processes.
• Coordinate, track, and supervise the work of the Product, BI, Customer Support, HR, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with company objectives, operational efficiency, adherence to procedures, and transparent reporting.
• Systemize, and continuously improve operating procedures across all core functions of the cryptocurrency exchange
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose process changes or automation solutions.
• Prepare operational reports and insights for the CEO and founders to support strategic decision-making.
• Support business scaling and organizational growth by building efficient structures and processes that can adapt to fast-changing market conditions.
• Drive cross-department collaboration to improve time-to-market and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships that support the company’s growth and operational excellence.
• Oversee global operations of a distributed, remote-first team, fostering effective communication and performance across multiple geographies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a senior operational role (e.g., COO, Head of Operations or similar) in a tech or product-driven company.
• Proven experience managing operations in medium-sized companies, ideally within fintech, blockchain, or Web3 sectors.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills: ability to collect, interpret, and act on operational data.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, including performance evaluation, delegation, and goal-setting.
• Familiarity with modern technologies, Web3 or DeFi concepts, and a solid understanding of how technical and business operations intersect.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior leadership.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level) is required.
• Ukrainian or Russian language skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to solve business problems and identify product, market, and customer trends and opportunities;
• Act as a data owner for a wide scope of metrics and reporting layers — from core data logging to end-user data visualizations;
• Maintain, optimize, and expand key dashboards, reports, and metrics to support operational and strategic decision-making;
• Collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to define, track, and maintain core business KPIs;
• Lead complex deep-dive analyses and provide actionable insights that shape product strategy and business growth.
• Mentor and guide a Junior BI Specialist within the team, providing technical direction, support, and feedback on tasks and development goals.

Required skills

• Strong analytical mindset and ability to structure ambiguous problems using data;
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large data sets;
• Experience with BI tools (Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or similar);
• Familiarity with mobile/web analytics platforms (e.g., Appsflyer, Firebase, Amplitude);
• Experience in the fintech or crypto industry
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical teams
