We are looking for a UAV Tester - a test engineer who will be responsible for the full cycle of field tests for our products. This is a specialist who combines deep technical knowledge with practical hands-on skills in the field.
They will be involved not only in data analysis but also in the direct preparation and execution of tests π
Requirements/Hard Skills:
- 1+ years of experience as a UAV tester or in related positions;
- Diagnostics, soldering, and repair of low-voltage drone systems (5β24 V);
- Full assembly of an FPV drone, connection, and configuration of all components (FC, ESC, RX, VTX, GPS, camera, buzzer) via UART;
- Betaflight configuration, comprehensive drone setup "from scratch," optimization of PIDS/Filters/Rateprofile, and working with the CLI (dump, remapping);
- Updating and flashing boards, working with the ExpressLRS radio communication system;
- Using a multimeter and smoke stopper, safe launch, flight data analysis;
- Ability to pilot a drone in difficult conditions, prevent failsafe, and return the drone without a video signal.
Soft skills:
- Problem-oriented thinking, the ability to quickly diagnose the causes of malfunctions and fix a "bad drone";
- Attention to detail during soldering, assembly, and configuration of PIDS/filters;
- Ability to act effectively in critical situations (e.g., returning the drone without video);
- Ability to anticipate loss of control based on RSSI indicators and prevent failsafe.
Additional mandatory conditions:
- Category "B" driver's license for performing work tasks.
