About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Testing Lead to join a global finance initiative, playing a key role in quality assurance within the GM Financing Stream — specifically for the Prime Brokerage and Swaps Crew. You’ll be part of a collaborative, innovation-oriented environment, working on a platform in the midst of cloud transformation.

As a Testing Lead, you’ll oversee the QA function, ensuring the team delivers top-tier quality across performance, usability, and reliability. You’ll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define and drive robust testing strategies and ensure alignment with agile best practices.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing technical guidance and support
• Define and uphold QA strategies, practices, and standards across the project
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, scripts, and procedures
• Identify, document, and track bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with Crew Leads, Chapter Leads, and Agile Coaches throughout the SDLC
• Partner with Development Leads to proactively address risks and opportunities
• Contribute hands-on to test automation (cloud/on-prem), focusing on API, streaming, and non-functional areas
• Analyze and communicate test results effectively to all relevant teams
• Promote compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in both functional (accuracy, usability, functionality) and non-functional (performance, reliability, security) testing
• Strong test automation expertise and experience with API, event-based, and streaming systems
• Proven knowledge across the testing pyramid: unit, component, integration, and non-functional levels
• Hands-on experience in building automation frameworks for cloud and on-premise environments
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (preferably Microsoft Azure) and event-driven architectures
• Solid SQL skills (DML, DDL), and good understanding of databases (e.g., transactions, sessions)
• Familiarity with Unix shell commands for basic system navigation and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach
