Job role and responsibilities: 

As part of a cross-functional team - including our web lead developer, database engineer and app developer - you will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of our website. This is a dynamic role focused on senior front-end development, with a primary focus on delivering engaging, modern user experiences. 

Your main responsibility will include: 

• Developing and supporting clean, W3C-compliant front-end code that aligns with stakeholder specifications with a focus on a web standards, semantics, usability, accessibility and performance optimization.

This role is central to our organization: your work defines how users experience Gene. You’ll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, shaping both internal tools and customer-facing automation with immediate impact.

• Design and maintain prompt architectures that drive AI behavior across core products.
• Build reusable prompt modules and libraries that accelerate experimentation and reduce operational overhead.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align prompt logic with user goals and technical requirements.
• Identify edge cases and failure modes, implementing safeguards that increase safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in product design, UX, applied linguistics, or AI applications.
• Hands-on experience with GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, or similar large language models.

• Experience with iterative workflows, A/B testing, and prompt or model evaluation.
• Ability to independently lead projects from concept to deployment.

You’ll work across the entire stack - from front end to database- turning product requirements into working, reliable software. Success in this role means delivering high-quality features with speed, collaborating effectively with our international team, and ensuring systems are both scalable and maintainable.
