Your Mission
As Legal Counsel, you will safeguard SolveX’s expansion across multiple GEOs by providing world-class legal support, ensuring compliance, and navigating the complex legal frameworks that define high-risk industries.
What You’ll Do
- Provide legal support for the company’s daily operations across multiple GEOs.
- Draft, review, and comment on contracts and other legal documents in line with international standards and the company's service provision policy.
- Develop internal corporate policies, compliance programs, and regulatory frameworks.
- Support licensing projects under MiCA, VASP, VARA, and other relevant regulatory regimes.
- Monitor changes in laws, regulatory requirements, and compliance obligations across the EU, UK, UAE, and Canada.
- Conduct legal research in related fields.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to ensure compliance and legal risk protection.
Represent SolveX in interactions with regulators, external counsel, and international partners.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Education: Law degree (international law focus preferred).
- Experience: 2+ years in the payments industry (PSPs, payment providers, or aggregators).
- Expertise: Proven track record in corporate and contract law, compliance (AML/KYC), data protection, MICA licensing, iGaming, and VASP.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate law frameworks in the EU, Canada, UAE, and the UK.
- Industry Knowledge: CIS payments background with hands-on exposure to gambling, betting, iGaming, or other high-risk industries.
- Skills:
