You’ll handle incident triage, bug fixes, and small improvements while collaborating with the core team when escalation is needed. What you’ll do

• Maintain and troubleshoot Python/Django web applications

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Junior QA Engineer to join our team in lviv!

What You’ll get to do:

• Design, maintain, and execute test cases for APIs, web, and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across services and applications.
• Work with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar) to validate endpoints, requests, and responses.
• Apply basic OOP concepts when writing or maintaining automated tests.
• Execute manual testing for web and mobile apps (UI/UX, cross-browser, cross-platform).
• Participate in bug reporting, verification, and tracking in tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate closely with developers to clarify requirements and reproduce issues.
• Support the QA team in building automation coverage and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to QA documentation: test plans, test reports, and checklists.

What You need to know:

• Practical experience with API testing (REST, SOAP).
• Basic knowledge of HTTP, JSON, XML, and authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, API keys).
• 0.5 — 1 year of hands-on experience in web testing (desktop & responsive) and mobile app testing (iOS/Android).
• Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
• Understanding of basic OOP principles (inheritance, encapsulation, abstraction, polymorphism).
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.

Requirements

• Experience in account management, sales, NOC, or business development; telecom (A2P SMS/VoIP) experience is a plus
• Strong communication and account management skills
• Confidence in conducting business meetings
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• English: Upper-Intermediate or above
