Junior DevOps Engineer/System administrator (offline)

We are looking for Junior DevOps Engineer/System administrator (with 3+ years of commercial experience in IT area + some experience as a DevOps Engineer).

Project description:
As DevOps, you will participate in managing the ProductOps infrastructure for Insightful Science companies. The infrastructure consists of several web properties using a variety of tech including: PHP, NodeJS, ColdFusion/Java, Apache, NGINX, IIS, Windows, Ubuntu, MSSQL and MYSQL. We are looking for an experienced engineer / system administrator that has real experience in high-availability production systems.

Required skills:
— Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu)
— Knowledge of networks, network protocols and configuration
— Experience with administration of databases (MYSQL, MSSQL)
— Experience maintaining high-availability production systems
— Experience troubleshooting server performance

As a plus:
— AWS skills (EC2, S3, RDS, ALB, ECS, CloudFormation)
— Programming skills ((bash) scripting for automation)
— Experience with Git
— CI/CD (Bitbucket pipelines)
— Strong English

Responsibilities:
*Maintain systems for high-availability
— Implement and manage backup and restore procedures
— Manage disaster recovery procedures and process
*System administration
— Apply (security) updates
— Manage storage
*Monitor and respond to server issues
— Troubleshoot performance issues
*Configure and support AWS services
*Support of Development Environment
*User administration of different services (GSuite, Slack, DropBox, etc.)
