Senior C#/.NET Developer (offline)

The product is a host application which provides base services to other applications in customer's product line and ingrates with various devices (cameras, fingerprint scanners, document scanners, card scanners, barcode/QR-code scanners) and external libraries for matching algorithms.

Responsibilities:
- Obtaining knowledge of customer class library and solution framework
- Development of new features and integration with new devices
- Code refactoring
- Maintaining unit and integration test relevance and updates
- Investigation, analysis, localization and resolution of issue root causes
- End-customer project release build configuration
- Contributing to technical documentation updates
- Sharing knowledge and lessons learned across the team
- Communicate effectively with multiple customer representatives, including application team, end-customer project teams, R&D team, etc.
- Obtaining technical ownership of the product
Mandatory Skills:
- 6+ years of extensive development with C# and .NET Framework
- Knowledge of WCF
- Experience with complex custom-developed class libraries and legacy code with a vast number of dependencies
- Commitment to reaching goals and delivering result
- Strong commitment to quality, product sustainability and risk-mitigation
- Ability to understand the broader organizational context which impacts development goals, customer expectations and restrictions
- Ability to collaborate and communicate constructively in a challenging environment
- Confident verbal and written communication in English
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with multithreading, messaging patterns, device communications
Experience with various device integration and working with vendor SDKs
Experience with biometrics and/or identity management
C++ experience might be helpful
