Required Skills:
Understanding of the process and types of testing
Linux (user / confident user), Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows
Knowledge of network technologies, OSI model, LDAP, DNS, DHCP
Experience with MSSQL / MySQL (configuration / support)
Experience with wireshark, tcpdump, ngrep tools
Web servers: lighttpd, apache, nginx (configuration / support)
English at least intermediate level
Desired Skills:
Knowledge / work experience with VoIP (Asterisk / Kamailio)
Experience in Automation testing
Basic knowledge of programming language (Java / Python / Lua)
Experience with Jira issue tracking software
Experience in Android / iOS applications testing
Experience in firmwares testing for different hardware devices (VoIP phones, switches, etc)
Responsibilities:
* Liaise with software developers and technical support to improve product quality.
* Carry out functional, integration, regression and performance tests after development
* Participate in discussions around software architecture and test framework improvement
* Mentor personal growth of newcomers
* Produce high-quality test assets
* Test cases/checklists and other types of test documentations creation;
* Ensure the quality of all applications released are to a standard agreed and accepted by key stakeholder
* Actively contribute and drive the on-going improvement of the testing process, knowledge, quality and best practice
* Be able to implement key testing techniques to improve quality in our testing approach
* Estimate the required testing time;
* Functional and regression tests
