Project Description:

One of the largest retail worldwide company that located in USA needs a professional, effective and result-oriented team to design, develop and support complex enterprise solutions. This solutions include logistic applications used various supply chain methodologies.

You will work on back-end integration-tests that are intended to automate the verification of various e2e flows across services in the event-driven cloud-native environment.

There is no UI and your tests will be mostly hitting REST APIs and polling Kafka topics. Interaction with some AWS API is also possible.

The development of integration-tests has been started recently and here is technical stack so far: Java 8/11, Spring Boot, Kafka, REST, Cucumber, Gradle, Gitlab CI/CD, K8s.

Responsibilities:

Quickly learn new technologies and improve proficiency.

Help the team with ongoing tasks related to the microservices platform development and support.

Mandatory Skills:

Basic programming skills

Broad Linux administration experience, shell scripting

Knowledge of git

Understanding of cloud systems architecture

Understanding of modern SDLC

Good problem-solving abilities

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Knowledge or experience with:

cloud platforms like AWS

containerization (Docker)

Java

would be a big advantage.
