About the team
We are looking for to join to our client's company new colleagues to the AI & Automation domain. They are a 1 1/2 year old domain (eg, development group) who has been handed the exciting task of “everything web automation, data extraction and search”. At big scale. Really big.

The first challenge we’re looking to address is that of better end-user experience: the company automates a bunch of stuff for the users in their App. Aggregation of logistics, management of returns, tagging items you want to buy online for later purchase, price alerts (tell me when this item is available at a discount), finding out where and when that special thing you want to buy is in stock (we all dislike having to search multiple locations when we’re in a crunch to buy a birthday gift). These challenges all require to integrate with third party websites most of the time. The team automate interactions and extract data - and make this “knowledge” available as services. Team Members use example based approaches for fast integration with new targets, and use machine learning to scale out to 1000s of targets. Yes, we are building an AI that can browse the web for you. How ironic is that? :-)

Fullstack:
● Good knowledge of the DOM and understanding of how pages are rendered
● NodeJs
● Modern stack
○ TypeScript
○ Babel, Webpack, ...
○ ExpressJS
○ PostgreSQL
● Touchpoints with Browser extensions development
● Touchpoints with web scraping
○ Puppeteer or similar
● A taste for algorithms
