Solidwork Specialist

If you design mechanical parts and assemblies in SolidWorks every day, this remote role pays you to do what you know best and explain how you do it. You’ll join an AI training project for a global AI company, completing real mechanical design tasks in SolidWorks and walking through your process step by step, so AI systems learn how engineers actually design. Fully remote, flexible hours, paid by the hour.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Create and edit 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Work with parametric modeling, sketches, constraints, and feature trees.
• Develop and modify mechanical designs based on technical requirements.
• Review CAD models for dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing accuracy.
• Complete advanced CAD tasks and explain your workflow step by step.

• Write clear instructions and detailed prompts for mechanical design tasks.

   

What we expect from you:

• Strong professional, hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
• Hands-on experience with 3D parametric CAD modeling and assemblies.
• Good understanding of mechanical design, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Access to SolidWorks and comfort recording your screen while you work.
• English at B2 level or higher.

• Ability to explain technical workflows clearly.

   

Nice to Have:

• Experience with FreeCAD, Fusion 360, or Autodesk Inventor.
• A master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, or reverse engineering.

• Previous AI data experience (data annotation, RLHF, or AI model evaluation) is a plus, but not required.
