UI/UX Designer – Public Digital Services

We are looking for UI/UX Designer – Public Digital Services. You'll design user-friendly, accessible digital services, from user research to tested prototypes, working closely with product owners and frontend developers.

Location: Finland · mainly remote, flexible arrangements

About the client. 

A Finnish software consultancy designs digital services for public-sector clients (services for government agencies, citizens and businesses), as well as private-sector clients.

What you'll do

• Design UI and UX for digital services and improve the user experience
• Research user needs and run user studies
• Design interfaces, user flows and information architecture
• Build wireframes and interactive prototypes
• Plan, run and analyse usability tests
• Design accessible, user-friendly interfaces
• Use design systems and shared UI components
• Work with product owners, frontend developers and other specialists

What you bring

• Several years as a UI/UX designer or in a similar role
• Strong experience designing interfaces and user experiences for digital services
• Figma or a similar tool
• User research, service journeys and usability testing
• Prototyping and wireframing
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility requirements
• Good Finnish

Nice to have: designing digital public services, large e-service systems, design systems, service design or customer experience work, and experience in agile teams.
