Marketing Specialist
Position Overview
UnderDefense is looking for a proactive and results-driven Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on Email Marketing, Lead Nurturing, and CRM Marketing to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you will focus on engaging existing leads, building effective nurturing campaigns, and moving prospects through the sales funnel toward booked sales meetings.
We're looking for a versatile B2B marketer who combines hands-on execution, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of customer behavior to turn marketing activities into measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire a deep understanding of UnderDefense's solutions and customer challenges to clearly articulate our unique selling points.
- Operate all facets of digital marketing, including database marketing, email marketing and nurturing, social media initiatives, partner marketing initiatives and more to drive number of booked sales calls and increase lead-to-SQL conversions.
- Implement and evaluate activities to entice, inform, and convert prospects at every step of their engagement journey. Regularly experiment to refine the channel and campaign mix based on empirical data.
- Regularly relay information regarding product updates and enhancements to our users and potential clients.
- Monitor industry trends and insights, adjusting campaign strategy based on data-driven insights for optimal performance.
- Innovate and ideate creative strategies to connect with a niche audience of security practitioners who are often allergic to marketing.
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with industry experts and thought leaders.
Ensure our brand's message and appearance remain consistent and coherent across various platforms and touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Middle-level specialist with 2+ years of professional experience in marketing.
- B2B Marketing -must-have. Experience with complex B2B products, enterprise clients, and long sales cycles is preferred.
- Email Marketing / Nurturing - must-have. Hands-on experience in building email sequences, audience segmentation, marketing automation, and campaign optimization.
- CRM / Marketing Automation. Experience with HubSpot is a strong plus, but candidates with solid hands-on experience using other platforms will also be considered.
- General Marketing Background. Ability and willingness to handle a variety of marketing tasks beyond email campaigns.
- English - B2 or higher. Ability to independently create high-quality email content for the US market.
- Understanding of Customer Psychology. Ability to identify potential customers' needs and intent, and develop communication flows that gradually guide them toward a purchase.
Results-Driven Mindset. Ability to demonstrate specific examples of previous work, including the initial situation, changes implemented, and their impact on MQLs, SQLs, conversions, or the sales pipeline.
