Data BI Analyst

We're looking for an independent mid-to-senior Data or BI Analyst with real programmatic or ad tech experience. You would join one of Poland's largest online publishers, in the advertising area. Your purpose is to own the data layer of their advertising ecosystem. You'd connect raw data in columnar databases with day-to-day business operations by automating API data pulls, reporting and BI dashboard feeds. This is a role for someone who builds product-oriented analytical solutions, not someone who only runs reports.

What you'll do

• Own the analytics data layer across the advertising and programmatic ecosystem
• Automate data extraction from ad platform and SSP APIs
• Build and maintain the data feeds behind BI dashboards
• Turn raw data from large-volume columnar databases into solutions the business can use
• Work closely with the sales and programmatic teams

What you bring

• 3+ years in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or similar role
• Professional experience in advertising, programmatic or ad tech, with a solid understanding of SSPs and Google Ad Manager
• SQL on large-volume columnar databases (ClickHouse, Trino, BigQuery, Hive)
• Python for automation, including REST APIs and data processing
• Proven ownership of analytical solutions and dashboards in Power BI, Superset or Tableau, beyond pure execution

Nice to have

• Experience pulling data from the Google Ad Manager API or similar platforms
• Git and orchestration tools such as Airflow
• Daily use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) or other LLM tools
• Background at a publisher or ad tech firm in a product-oriented role
