Senior AI Solutions Engineer (Azure, Microsoft 365, LLM Agents)

About the role

Softblues builds AI agents and process automation for UK and Irish businesses. We are looking for a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to lead the technical side of our client projects  from discovery to production agents. You will work together with our delivery lead.

What you will do

• Work with client environments and run technical sessions with their IT and data teams
• Map client systems, integrations and risks
• Assess candidate agents for complexity and estimate the effort
• Present the architecture and technical roadmap to the client
• Build agents from synthetic-data prototype to release
   

Requirements

• 6+ years in development, 2+ years with LLMs
• At least 2 agent solutions in production, one in a corporate Microsoft environment
• Azure (Entra ID, AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Functions or Container Apps, Key Vault)
• Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Graph API, Power Automate, Copilot Studio)
• OpenAI and Claude: tool calling, RAG, structured outputs, evals
• Agent frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude Agent SDK, MCP
• Python, CI/CD, integrations with legacy systems without proper APIs
• Strict data discipline: synthetic data, GDPR, ISO 27001 environments
• C1 spoken English and confidence leading technical calls with clients on your own
• Availability during UK working hours (at least 9:00 to 16:00 UK time)
   

Nice to have

C# / .NET, Microsoft certifications (AI-102, AZ-305), consulting or pre-sales experience, retail or hospitality domain.
