JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an Operations Analyst to support and manage day-to-day operational activities across our digital asset trading business.
 

The key objective of the role is to ensure the smooth end-to-end processing of OTC trades, payments, settlements, and digital asset transactions while maintaining operational accuracy, supporting liquidity management, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
 

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in operations within a crypto exchange, broker-dealer, or OTC trading environment and understands the operational specifics of fiat and virtual asset transactions.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle, from obtaining and evaluating quotes from liquidity providers to trade execution with clients.
• Oversee trade settlements, monitor transaction statuses, and investigate and resolve settlement issues.
• Process and monitor client fiat and virtual asset deposits and withdrawals, identifying and resolving transaction exceptions.
• Maintain liquidity provider and counterparty configurations and prepare operational data for internal and regulatory reporting.
• Support the Finance Department with daily reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate their resolution.
• Support liquidity management activities, including executing approved treasury transactions.
• Identify and escalate operational exceptions and unusual activity, support compliance reviews, and maintain accurate records in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Technology and Product teams to report system issues, test platform updates, and support the automation and improvement of operational processes.
• Act as the day-to-day operational point of contact for banking partners, custody providers, and liquidity providers.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of operational transactions and records.
   

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• At least 2 years of operations experience at a crypto exchange, broker-dealer, OTC desk, or a similar financial services company.
• Working knowledge of blockchain technology and virtual assets.
• Practical experience with trade settlement, payment operations, or transaction processing.
• Understanding of OTC and RFQ trading workflows, including quotes, spreads, slippage, basis points (bps), and fee calculations.
• Familiarity with digital asset custody solutions and wallet management platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve operational issues.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and a structured approach to handling transactions and documentation.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Compliance, Technology, and Product teams.
• Good communication and coordination skills when working with external counterparties and internal stakeholders.

• Languages: Native Russian or Ukrainian; English at B2–C1 level (Upper-Intermediate to Advanced), with the ability to communicate confidently in a professional environment.

  
  LANGUAGES & TEAM ENVIRONMENT

• FCE is an international team with colleagues from Arab countries, the Netherlands, the UK, Australia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and other countries. We communicate internally in both English and Russian, so fluency in Russian or Ukrainian at a native level and a strong command of English (B2–C1) are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues across different teams and locations.

• Experience working in a VARA-regulated environment in the UAE.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and operational controls in the virtual asset industry.
• Experience with treasury operations, liquidity management, and fiat-to-crypto or crypto-to-fiat transactions.
• Experience working with banking partners, payment service providers, liquidity providers, and digital asset custodians.
• Knowledge of operational risk management and transaction monitoring procedures.
   

WORKING CONDITIONS & BENEFITS
