Data Engineer for Flipside Crypto (offline)

Requirements:

— Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
— Experience working with analytic databases, such as AWS Redshift
— Knowledge of data pipelining tools such as Apache Airflow, DBT, etc.
— Proficiency with multiple programming languages (i.e., Python, Go)

Blockchain technology is often uncharted territory, but if you're comfortable applying your skills in unknown problem spaces, you'll fit right into our fast-moving team.

Responsibilities:

— Ingesting new data from a vast network of blockchain nodes, custom blockchain parsers, and third party APIs
— Managing and monitoring existing data pipelines
— Productionalizing time-series metrics for partners and products
— Improving data visibility for other teams at Flipside
— Prototyping new datastores for emerging problems other teams want to tackle
