Senior Dynamics 365 Developer – Sales, Pricing, Quoting

We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Developer to support a global Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM system, with a focus on Sales, Pricing and Quoting. You will start with clearly defined development tasks. For example, you will connect Pricefx's AI pricing recommendations to Dynamics 365 and add past quote prices to the Quote Line Manager. You will also build the CRM side of a new Base Conditions interface and improve existing quoting features, such as quick entry and how long product names are shown. You will review requirements and the existing custom code, suggest technical options and agree on the design with internal Product Owners and Architects. Then you will build, test and document what was agreed. Once your onboarding goes well, you can grow your expertise across the wider Pricing and Quoting area, including configurable products, document generation and SAP/ERP processes.

About the project:
The client is an international company that runs a global Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM system for its sales teams. The system handles key sales processes, especially pricing, conditions and quotes, and it has many custom features. It is connected to other platforms: Pricefx for AI-based pricing, dox42 for creating documents, and SAP/ERP for pricing and conditions. The client is bringing in outside support to deliver a set of clearly defined improvements to this system. The work starts with focused development tasks and can grow over time into owning more of the Pricing and Quoting area. You will work closely with internal Product Owners and Architects and follow clear architecture and technical guidelines.

You have:

• Several years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Dataverse
• Strong hands-on development skills in C#/.NET, Plug-ins, Custom APIs and the Dataverse Web API/SDK
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for Model-driven Apps
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON and system integrations
• Experience with Dynamics Solutions, ALM, source control and testing
• Ability to understand both business and technical requirements and discuss solution options with Product Owners and Architects
• Ability to work on your own with existing custom code
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Config-Quoting / configurable products
• Experience with Pricefx / AIPA
• Experience with Quote Line Manager
• Experience with dox42 document generation
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP pricing, condition and quoting processes

What to do:

• Connect Pricefx (AIPA) to Dynamics 365 through APIs, so AI pricing recommendations appear in the condition and pricing process
• Extend the existing Quote Line Manager so it shows past quote prices
• Build and improve the CRM side of a new online interface for Base Conditions
• Make targeted improvements to existing quoting features, such as quick entry and how long product names are shown
• Review requirements and existing custom code on your own, and suggest technical options that fit the client's architecture and technical guidelines
• Agree on the solution design with internal Product Owners and Architects
• Build, test and document the agreed solutions
• After onboarding, gradually build expertise in Config-Quoting, Pricefx/AIPA, Quote Line Manager, dox42 and SAP/ERP pricing and quoting processes
