UAPP.AI is a full-cycle Ukrainian product company. We build our own subscription-based AI apps for iOS and web: 50+ products across Utilities, Health & Fitness, Entertainment, Photo & Video and Lifestyle. We have 10M+ users in 150+ countries, with the US and tier-1 markets as our core.
We process payments directly through our own provider stack: Stripe, SolidGate, Checkout.com, Unlimit, Payable, Traspay, ADN and Apple. Everything is in-house, from market research and design to AI integrations, ASO and monetization.
About the role
We're looking for a Head of Finance to own the company's entire financial picture, from daily cash flow to the strategic financial model. You'll be the first senior finance person on the team, so you'll build the function (processes, reporting, controls) your way. At the same time, the role is hands-on: you don't just delegate, you work with the numbers yourself.
The key focus is payments and the company's overall financial picture. Your numbers will drive key decisions, which means maximum impact on our products.
What you'll do
- Own P&L, cash flow, budgeting and the company's financial model
- Reconcile revenue across all payment providers, control fees, multi-currency and FX
- Structure legal entities and taxes together with external lawyers and accountants
- Build management reporting that key decisions rely on
- Set up financial processes and controls from scratch
What we're looking for
- 4+ years in finance, ideally in a product or subscription business
- Strong FP&A and experience building a finance function from scratch
- Solid understanding of payments, payment providers and reconciliation
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Confident with spreadsheets and financial modeling
- Ready to be hands-on
