Accounts Payable Specialist (US Real Estate)

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the finance operations, a US real estate company.

This is a hands-on operational role focused on invoice processing, Accounts Payable workflows, and communication with the US team.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and supporting documents.
• Review invoices for completeness and accuracy.
• Enter and maintain invoice information in the accounting/ERP system.
• Make sure invoices are assigned to the correct vendor, entity, property, and expense category.
• Route invoices through the appropriate approval workflow.
• Track pending approvals and follow up when needed. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, missing information, duplicate invoices, and other AP-related issues.
• Maintain accurate vendor and invoice records. Communicate with internal teams and, when necessary, vendors regarding invoices and payment-related questions.
• Monitor open and pending AP items and ensure they are processed in a timely manner.
• Support other day-to-day Accounts Payable and Finance Operations activities as needed.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, accounting operations, P2P / Procure-to-Pay, or a similar finance role.
• Good understanding of the invoice-to-payment process.
• Basic accounting knowledge, including GL accounts, vendors, legal entities, and expense allocation.
• Experience working with an ERP or accounting system.
• Good Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high volume of transactions.
• Ability to investigate issues independently and follow them through to resolution.
• Good written and spoken English — B2 or higher.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with a US company.
• Experience in real estate, property management, or construction.
• Experience with Yardi or another real estate accounting system.
• Experience working in a multi-entity environment.
