Responsibilities

• Product Development: Define and maintain the product roadmap, prioritize initiatives, and drive the implementation of new features aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Regulatory Compliance: Analyze regulatory requirements and coordinate their timely implementation across the product and business processes.
• Business Continuity: Coordinate changes to critical payment systems while ensuring uninterrupted business operations and minimizing downtime risks.
• SLA Management: Monitor compliance with service-level agreements and requirements for service availability, reliability, and performance.
• Banking Integrations: Coordinate integrations with banks and payment partners, including requirements gathering, solution alignment, development, testing, and deployment.
• Product Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business objectives, regulatory obligations, technical constraints, and operational risks.
• Requirements Management: Translate business, technical, and regulatory requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Development, QA, DevOps, Information Security, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams.
• Release Management: Coordinate release planning and ensure readiness for changes deployed to production environments.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze product and operational metrics, identify bottlenecks, and initiate improvements to payment processes.
• Dependency Management: Coordinate dependencies across internal teams, external partners, and interconnected systems.

Requirements

• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role.
• Experience in FinTech, banking, payment systems, or money transfer services.
• Understanding of payment infrastructure and banking integration processes.
• Experience working with regulatory requirements and coordinating their implementation.
• Understanding of SLAs, service availability, and business continuity principles.
• Understanding of APIs and system integration concepts.
• Experience managing product backlogs, maintaining roadmaps, and prioritizing initiatives.
• Ability to document business and technical requirements, write user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, assess risks, and make decisions under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, a structured approach to problem-solving, and a high level of ownership.

Nice to Have

• Experience with payment processing, acquiring, or Payment Service Providers (PSPs).
• Practical experience implementing NBU (National Bank of Ukraine) requirements and other applicable regulatory obligations.
• Experience launching banking integrations and working with API contracts.
• Understanding of incident management, disaster recovery, and high-availability systems.
• Experience coordinating releases of critical systems without interrupting business operations.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and tools for monitoring service performance and operational metrics.
