About the Project
WORKSHORE is looking for a Middle Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer to join a fast-growing international technology company operating in the logistics and delivery industry.
The company is expanding its data capabilities and transforming an existing BI infrastructure into a scalable, reliable analytics platform.
You will work closely with the Head of Data and collaborate with Product, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Engineering teams.
This position combines technical data engineering expertise with business analytics, stakeholder communication, and data-driven decision-making.
Tech Stack
SQL, BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform, Dataform, Looker, LookML, Python, ETL/ELT, Data Modeling.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end analytics processes for a business vertical.
- Analyze business and product performance, including conversion funnels, customer retention, cohorts, and profitability.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
- Build data transformation workflows and analytical models with Dataform.
- Design and maintain semantic data models and business dashboards in Looker.
- Ensure consistency of KPIs and business metrics across departments.
- Investigate discrepancies between operational reporting and financial data.
- Present analytical findings and actionable recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Support the expansion of analytics infrastructure into new markets.
- Document analytical processes, data models, and pipelines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or Data Engineer.
- Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform.
- Practical experience with Dataform.
- Experience with Looker/LookML or comparable BI platforms.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
- Python skills for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with product and business analytics: funnels, cohorts, conversion, retention, and profitability.
- Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Good command of English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GCP Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, or Datastream.
- Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with geospatial analytics or BigQuery GIS.
- Familiarity with applied machine learning and anomaly detection.
- Experience with AI-powered analytics, LLMs, or conversational BI.
- Background in logistics, e-commerce, marketplaces, or last-mile delivery.
