About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to own product delivery and optimize the user experience, onboarding, and subscription conversion of a fitness mobile app.

The mandatory requirements are 4+ years of product management experience, availability to work until 8 PM Ukraine time, and an upper-intermediate English level.

Must haves

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management, with a strong understanding of intuitive UI/UX design and the ability to create seamless user journeys.
  • Autonomy & Leadership: Ability to act as an independent, strong individual contributor who can take high-level direction, run with execution, and manage product delivery across the full scope of the app.
  • Product-Led & Analytics-Driven Mindset: Focus on simplifying the user experience (UX) and improving user retention. Experience with event tagging, analytics tracking, and ensuring data quality.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong experience working directly with product designers, QA, and engineering teams to translate high-level strategy into clear, executable technical requirements and backlog initiatives.
  • Asynchronous High-Fidelity Communication: Mastery of structured PRDs, async video walkthroughs (e.g., Loom), and clear written updates (Slack/Emails) to serve as a single source of truth for all cross-functional partners.
  • Cross-Timezone Collaboration: Proactive management of workflows across time zones (US/Europe) to ensure zero friction. Ability to set up asynchronous daily hand-offs, maintain hyper-efficient synchronous overlap meetings, and keep the engineering team fully unblocked while the US team is offline.
  • Agile Proficiency: Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and toolsets (e.g., Linear, Jira, or Confluence) for workflow and task management.
  • Work Schedule: Availability to work until 8:00 PM Ukraine time is required.
  • Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

  • Experience in mobile app product management.
  • Domain Awareness: Prior experience with content-based applications or content management systems (CMS).
  • Subscription & Monetization: Experience with mobile paywall optimization, trial conversions, billing failure handling, and revenue retention strategies.
  • Quality Focus: Strong dedication to app stability, QA alignment, and bug reduction.
  • Experience in funnel optimization (onboarding, signup, conversion).

What you will do

Product Management & Delivery

  • Act as the primary point of contact connecting executive product leadership with the technical engineering team.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, translating strategic goals into detailed initiatives, epics, and actionable user stories.
  • Collaborate closely with designers and developers to scope solutions, simplify complex product flows, and execute feature rollouts.
  • Lead Agile execution, ensuring continuous, predictable, and high-quality product iterations.

Funnel, UX, & Retention Optimization

  • Acquisition & Onboarding: Optimize top-of-funnel registration, reduce onboarding drop-offs, and establish consistent cross-platform measurement across web and mobile.
  • New User Experience: Simplify the core app experience to reduce user friction, focusing on guiding new users through their initial workouts and habit formation.
  • Monetization & Conversion: Improve paywall clarity, trial-to-paid conversion mechanics, Q4 promotional offers, and subscription retention/cancel-save mechanics.
  • Analytics & Quality Control: Work with growth and lifecycle teams to implement clean event tracking/tagging, monitor product stability, and prioritize bug fixes alongside new feature development.

Perks

  • Growth without limits: build your skills through mentorship, internal TechTalks, challenging projects, and a dedicated annual learning budget
  • Competitive compensation: get recognition that reflects your skills and impact, with regular performance and compensation reviews
