Lead Full-stack Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Full-stack Engineer to own technical initiatives in our marketing domain, combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership, delivery, and people management. You’ll be the go-to engineer for Marketing: shaping technical solutions, keeping contractors’ work reliable, and growing a small team of 1–2 engineers. If you like turning business needs into pragmatic tech while leading from the code, this one’s for you 

📍What to Do:
 

• Own the engineering backlog coming from Marketing, from discovery and technical design to delivery and production support
• Build and evolve full-stack web projects, integrations, content platforms, landing pages, interactive experiences, admin panels, and internal tools
• Work directly with non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify constraints, and turn business needs into pragmatic technical solutions
• Review and validate technical solutions delivered by external contractors, improving their reliability, observability, and maintainability
• Decide when it makes sense to keep development outsourced and when projects should be brought in-house
• Improve internal tools and AI-assisted solutions created by non-engineering teams, turning prototypes into reliable, production-ready software where needed
• Own delivery processes and balance short-term business requests with longer-term technical and strategic work
• Collaborate with engineering leads and plan the team’s work
• Mentor and manage 1–2 engineers, including hiring, performance, development, and regular feedback

🦸Your Superpowers:
 

• Strong full-stack engineering background at Senior Engineer, Lead Engineer, or Team Lead level
• Hands-on experience across both backend and frontend development
• Experience mentoring or managing engineers, including performance management, hiring, and career development
• Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders, uncover requirements, and move projects forward without relying on a Product Manager or Business Analyst
• Strong ownership and self-management: you know how to remove blockers, find missing context, and drive work to completion
• Experience building delivery processes from scratch and taking responsibility for commitments and timelines
• Solid overlap with our technology landscape: PHP, Laravel, Yii2, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue 3, Nuxt 4, Node.js, NestJS, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, Kafka, and WordPress
• Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering, agentic workflows, code review automation, or evidence-based review practices

• Experience with engineering projects in marketing, acquisition, or growth
• Experience with content platforms, community websites, forums, landing pages, or other high-traffic products
• Experience working with external development teams and validating their technical solutions
• Genuine interest in gaming and the CS2 ecosystem
