Head of Esports Gaming Content (Editorial Lead)

Growica is an affiliate company working in the iGaming niche.

Our core focus is building and developing affiliate websites. We are now launching a new news vertical, Sports & Esports/Gaming Media, and we are looking for a Head of Esports & Chief Editor to lead one of its directions: Esports & Games.

About the project
This is a media vertical launch from scratch: you will build the editorial processes, content strategy, and team. You’ll have a lot of freedom in decision-making and minimal bureaucracy.

What you will do:

• Shape the editorial strategy and content plan for the Esports/Games direction.
• Manage a team of journalists and editors: hire, onboard, and develop them.
• Oversee content quality and bear final editorial responsibility for publications.
• Introduce editorial standards and quality control processes.
• Monitor tournaments, transfers, patches, releases, and key industry events in real time.
• Work with the SEO team to grow traffic.
• Analyze content performance and make data-driven decisions.

What we expect:

• Experience in esports/gaming journalism or digital media as an Editor, Managing Editor, Chief Editor, or a similar role.
• Experience managing an editorial team or a team of content specialists.
• Deep understanding of the esports and gaming industry, including Dota 2, CS, and other popular titles.
• Experience working with a Tier-1 audience and English-speaking teams.
• Basic understanding of SEO for media.
• Experience using AI tools for content.
• English B2+.
