Technical Writer (Product Company)

On behalf of our client — a growing Product IT Company — we are looking for a skilled and proactive Technical Writer.

The company is scaling its product and needs a specialist to build and streamline a structured internal Knowledge Management system. The main mission of this role is to transform scattered product details into a centralized, transparent, and user-friendly knowledge base for the entire engineering team.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Build the Knowledge Base: Create, structure, and maintain clear internal technical documentation as a single source of truth.

• Gather Technical Insights: Actively engage with Developers, QA Engineers, Project Managers, and System Architects to capture details about product architecture, services, and business logic.

• Refine Specs & Requirements: Help the team turn verbal ideas and discussions into well-structured technical tasks and specifications.

• Keep Docs Up to Date: Ensure documentation evolves continuously alongside product updates, new integrations, and architectural decisions.

• Enhance Knowledge Transfer: Help improve internal onboarding processes for new team members and streamline team-wide knowledge sharing.
 

What We Are Looking For

• Background: Proven experience as a Technical Writer, Business Analyst, or System Analyst within the IT sector.

• Technical Understanding: Good grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), REST APIs, client-server architecture, and basic software engineering principles.

• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional written communication skills, systems thinking, and a knack for structuring complex information clearly.

• Proactivity & Ownership: Strong initiative, ability to work independently, ask the right questions, and dig deep into the product mechanics.

• Tools: Solid experience with Jira, Confluence, Notion, or similar documentation platforms.
