Network Engineer L3 Support

We are looking for a  Network Engineer L3 Support!

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, NAT, VLAN, HTTP/HTTPS and network security fundamentals.
• Strong hands-on experience with network troubleshooting and root cause analysis across endpoint, LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, firewall, routing and application connectivity layers.
• Deep understanding of remote-access VPN technologies and protocols, including IPSec, SSL VPN, WireGuard and related tunneling technologies.
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting NGFW/firewall, VPN, routing and network infrastructure.
• Experience with enterprise network equipment and solutions from vendors such as Fortinet, MikroTik and Ubiquiti.
• Experience troubleshooting network related issues on Windows and macOS endpoints.
• Experience with network monitoring, logging, packet analysis and network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump or equivalent.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex L3 escalations and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

• Understanding of incident management and escalation processes.
  Experience maintaining technical documentation, network diagrams and troubleshooting procedures.

   

  Will be plus

• Experience with AWS networking: VPC, Route Tables, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, VPN connectivity.
• Experience with hybrid connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Understanding of Zero Trust / ZTNA principles.
  Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation: Ansible, Terraform, Python or Bash.

• Experience working in a NOC, Network Operations or L3 Support environment.

   

Responsibilities:

• Act as the L3 escalation point for IT Support for complex network-related incidents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to corporate VPN connectivity, internal resource availability, DNS, routing, firewall policies, NAT and network access.
• Perform end-to-end troubleshooting from the user endpoint to corporate/internal resources, identifying the root cause across endpoint, LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, firewall, routing, cloud and application connectivity layers.
• Configure and maintain firewall policies, routing, NAT and network access rules.
• Investigate recurring network incidents, perform RCA and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate closely with IT Support, System Administration, Information Security and other Infrastructure teams during incident investigation and resolution.
• Provide clear technical feedback to IT Support on resolved escalations, including root cause, resolution and recommended troubleshooting steps.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, troubleshooting procedures, runbooks and internal documentation.

• Contribute to the IT Support knowledge base to enable L1/L2 teams to resolve recurring issues without unnecessary L3 escalation.
