Head of Finance
We are looking for a Head of Finance to build the finance function of a fast-growing international tech company from methodology up. You will own the standards, controls, and reporting that leadership uses to make decisions across multiple products, markets, and business models serving millions of users worldwide. This is a high-impact role with real autonomy: as the methodological owner of the finance function, you will shape how finance works across entities and define the target state for finance processes and systems.
About the company: We are a global IT product company shaping the future of real-time social connection. We have millions of users across North America, Europe, Latin America, and MENA, and we build next-gen mobile and web apps for the live-streaming and social networking niches. The market will exceed $206 billion by 2030, and we are already among the leaders in the industry. Founded in Ukraine, scaling worldwide. Are you in?
In this role, you will
- Provide functional and technical leadership across Finance-related processes and initiatives
- Establish, document, and continuously improve finance methodologies, reporting standards, planning principles, and internal financial policies, ensuring consistent application across legal entities, projects, and business models
- Define the management reporting and planning frameworks, including key financial metrics, allocation principles, assumptions, and modelling logic
- Set the financial and accounting treatment for complex or non-standard transactions, and ensure compliance with IFRS and other applicable standards
- Own the quality and integrity of financial and management reporting, period-end close, and consolidated results across multiple entities
- Keep accounting records, management reporting, forecasts, and operational data aligned through clear data ownership, validation, and reconciliation principles, and resolve systemic data-quality issues at their root causes
- Own and strengthen the financial control framework across accounting, reporting, planning, allocations, and key business metrics, ensuring audit readiness through a risk- and materiality-based approach
- Define the target state for scalable, well-controlled finance processes, and drive standardization, automation, and finance transformation initiatives
- Own finance requirements for ERP and other financial systems, so that data flows, system logic, and reporting structures support business needs
- Own the methodology of financial planning, forecasting, and business modelling, and challenge key assumptions and business drivers
- Drive financial performance analysis, identifying key drivers, trends, risks, and deviations from plan to support management decisions
- Assess the financial impact of new products, business models, and strategic initiatives through scenarios and business cases
- Partner with business, technology, legal, and tax stakeholders to build financial considerations into business decisions, challenge key assumptions, and ensure business changes are reflected in financial planning, reporting, and controls
