Senior Backend Engineer — Python/LLM/AI Infrastructure

About Us

We are a deep-tech company building state-of-the-art LLM-based assistants augmented with knowledge graphs. We are seeking a Senior Backend Python Engineer (7+ years of experience) to design and scale the backend infrastructure powering our AI platform.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable backend services and multi-tenant SaaS systems.
• Design and operate high-throughput data pipelines (both batch and streaming).
• Build APIs and services integrating LLM inference, retrieval systems, and knowledge graphs.
• Productionize research-grade AI systems into reliable, production-ready distributed systems.
   

Core Requirements (Must Have)

• Experience: 7+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience.
• Architecture & Data: Strong background in building high-throughput data pipelines and multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
• Programming: Deep proficiency in Python.
• Distributed Systems: Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native environments.
• Kubernetes: Hands-on experience in the architecture, development, and deployment of Kubernetes-based systems.
   

Nice to Have

• Languages: Experience with Go and/or Scala.
• AI/LLM Ecosystem: Practical experience with LLM systems (RAG, model serving, evaluation).
• Graph & Vector Databases: Experience working with knowledge graphs, vector databases (e.g., Neo4j), or hybrid retrieval architectures.
