First Crypto is a VARA-licensed OTC broker-dealer in Dubai serving individuals and institutions. We are building our own platform for digital assets and fiat payments: OTC desk, web client and mobile app.
 

JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for AI-first full-stack engineers. Here, the AI agent writes the code; the engineer frames the task, steers the agent, rejects plausible but wrong output and owns the change all the way to production.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, maintain, and improve web applications and backend services for FCE's OTC platform and related products.
• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces and implement business logic on the backend.
• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and integrations with external services.
• Work with databases, data models, and application architecture to ensure performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Own features end to end: UI, backend, database, external integrations, tests, release behind a feature flag, and checking it works in production.
• Turn a product request into a short solution note and plan, reviewed by a colleague before the agent starts.
• Review colleagues' and agents' changes, an equal part of the job.
• Write tests with every change, without exception on paths that move money or change permissions.
• Investigate your own feature if it breaks in production.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
• Contribute to technical documentation and follow established development standards.
• Work with payment, financial, and digital asset-related functionality where required.
   

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Middle+ or senior level.
• Experience with systems where a mistake means a money or data incident: banking, payments, brokerage, custody, fintech or regulated SaaS. Crypto experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• Our stack: TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js/React, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes on AWS. It is not a filter: strong full-stack engineers with Go, Python, Java/Kotlin, PHP or C# on the backend and a modern frontend are welcome.
• Daily hands-on work with coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor in agent mode). Be ready to walk us through your last task from brief to merge, including where the agent got it wrong.
• Writes clearly: solution notes, plans and review comments are understood on first read.
• Russian: fluent or native, required.
• English: confident working level.
• All interview stages are on live video with camera on; identity and background checks are standard for this role.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, application security, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate effectively within a team.
