We are looking for a Product QA Engineer who can take ownership of product quality, work directly with the development and product teams, and help us build an AI-based QA framework with a structured testing pyramid.

We want to move towards predictable product quality, automated testing and faster releases without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Responsibilities

- Take ownership of product quality across web applications, APIs, integrations and internal business tools.
- Design and develop an AI-based QA framework, including test generation, execution, coverage analysis and failure investigation.
- Build and maintain a testing pyramid together with the engineering team: unit, integration, API and end-to-end testing.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke and exploratory testing.
- Validate business logic, user flows, data accuracy and access permissions.
- Identify, document and track bugs, working directly with developers to resolve them.
- Review product requirements, identify gaps and help define acceptance criteria.
- Prepare and maintain test cases, checklists and other necessary QA documentation.
- Participate in release testing and help prevent critical issues from reaching production.
- Introduce AI and automation into daily QA workflows, reducing repetitive manual work.
- Continuously improve testing processes, coverage and release quality as the products grow.

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in software QA, primarily with web applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, test design and the testing pyramid.
- Experience with manual testing, API testing and automated testing workflows.
- Understanding of frontend/backend interactions, HTTP, REST APIs and basic database concepts.
- Experience with browser DevTools, Postman or similar testing tools.
- Practical experience using AI and automation tools for software testing.
- Ability to independently analyze requirements, identify edge cases and investigate issues.
- Ability to organize QA processes and contribute to building an automated testing framework.
- English — B1+ or higher.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and clear communication with developers and product managers.

Strong Plus

- Experience building or maintaining test automation with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar tools.
- Experience designing AI-assisted testing workflows or QA frameworks.
- Basic SQL and scripting skills.
- Experience with fintech, marketplaces or SaaS products.
- Experience testing AI-based features, data pipelines or complex integrations.
- Understanding of CI/CD and release management.
- Experience working in startups or small product teams.

**This Role Is Probably Not for You If

You see QA as simply checking whether the application matches the design.

We expect you to understand how the product works, challenge questionable logic and identify problems that are not explicitly described in the requirements.

You prefer only manual testing and do not want to build automated QA processes.

Manual testing remains important, but our goal is to build a reliable testing framework based on the testing pyramid, with automation covering repetitive and critical scenarios.

You do not want to use AI and automation in your daily work.

We expect QA to actively work with AI-based testing tools, help develop our internal QA framework and continuously improve how product quality is managed.
