Requirements

• 5+ years building native iOS apps in Swift, shipped apps live on the App Store (consumer-facing, meaningful scale preferred)
• Strong SwiftUI and UIKit, comfortable with interop (UIHostingController, UIViewRepresentable)
• Modern Swift Concurrency: async/await, actors, MainActor, and a working understanding of Sendable / Swift 6 strict concurrency. Combine where it genuinely fits
• Architecture judgment: MVVM or similar, dependency injection, testable view models, Swift Package Manager
• Owns a feature end-to-end: spec, implementation, tests, release, post-release monitoring
• Daily production experience with AI coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar)
• Can catch when AI-generated code works but is architecturally wrong: retain cycles, incorrect actor isolation, hallucinated APIs, patterns that don't fit the codebase
• Understands cross-platform parity: replicating an existing implementation on another platform without losing behavior or analytics fidelity
• Debugging and performance: Instruments, memory/retain-cycle diagnosis, launch time, scroll performance, crash reports
• Ships safely: TestFlight, phased rollout, feature flags, crash monitoring
• Pragmatic testing: unit tests on logic, judgment on what's worth testing in a UI-heavy app

Nice to have

• Hands-on Android experience (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose)
• Experience migrating React Native or Flutter to native, incremental approach
• Parity-testing tooling: event/screenshot comparison, snapshot testing
• Subscriptions: StoreKit 2, paywalls, trials, entitlement validation, RevenueCat or similar
• Consumer product instincts: onboarding, paywall funnels, A/B testing
• App analytics/attribution: Amplitude, Firebase, AppsFlyer, event schema design, SKAdNetwork
• ASO experience
• App Store privacy compliance: privacy manifests, data-collection declarations
• Platform features: push notifications, deep linking, widgets, Live Activities
• SwiftData or Core Data, including migrations
• CI/CD: Xcode Cloud or fastlane, TestFlight automation
• Accessibility and localization: Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, RTL
