About Our Client

Our client is an innovative PropTech platform simplifying co-ownership and fractionated real estate investments. Their product manages the full lifecycle - from buying and selling property shares to guest stay management, booking engines, automated payments, and property operations.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead who balances hands-on IC execution with technical leadership. In this role, you will guide architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality delivery across a full-stack TypeScript ecosystem in close collaboration with product and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Architect and evolve systems across a TypeScript-based stack (Node.js, NestJS, React, React Native, Next.js); drive distributed and event-driven architecture standards; perform code reviews and mentor engineers.

• Execution & Delivery: Build core features, review PRs, break down complex requirements into actionable work, and maintain strong engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, observability).

   

Requirements

Must-have:

• 6–10+ years of software engineering and technical leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, along with React, React Native, or Next.js.
• Strong background in cloud environments (preferably GCP).
• Experience designing and maintaining distributed systems and event-driven architectures (microservices, CQRS, Pub/Sub, message brokers).

• Proven track record of leading technical initiatives, mentoring developers, and cross-functional collaboration.

   

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with payment security, user data protection, and access control.
• Basic understanding of AI engineering (LLM system integration, prompt design).
• Experience with booking engines, financial/transactional systems, or Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Knowledge of DevOps / Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
