Full-Stack Developer
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer for our client, an Israeli FinTech product company building an AI-powered B2B platform for digital debt collection and payment management.
The platform helps large organizations automate outstanding payment management and customer communication using digital payments, conversational AI, behavioral analysis, and automation. AI is a core part of the production product, helping personalize communication and payment flows.
The company already works with large enterprise customers in Israel, including major insurance companies, so security, reliability, compliance, and data protection are critical.
The engineering team is small, giving developers significant ownership and direct influence over the product. The company also follows an AI-native engineering approach, actively using AI coding tools while keeping engineers fully responsible for everything shipped to production.
What You’ll Do
* Develop and improve an existing production FinTech platform
* Work across backend and frontend
* Build new services and features using Node.js / JavaScript
* Develop frontend functionality with React
* Work with and gradually modernize an existing PHP codebase
* Work with infrastructure on AWS
* Contribute to CI/CD and deployment when needed
* Build and integrate AI-powered functionality
* Participate in architectural and technical decisions
* Take ownership of features from requirements through production
What We’re Looking For
* Strong commercial Full-Stack development experience
* Strong Node.js / JavaScript skills
* Experience with React
* Experience with AWS
* Good understanding of modern web application architecture
* Basic understanding of DevOps and CI/CD
* Strong ownership and ability to work independently
* Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar codebases
* Willingness to work with existing PHP code when necessary
Deep PHP expertise is not required. What matters is being comfortable entering an existing PHP codebase and learning it quickly.
AI Experience
AI experience is an important part of this role.
We are looking for someone who:
* Actively uses Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools
* Uses AI agents as part of their development workflow
* Has experience with products or features where AI/LLMs run in production
* Understands model limitations, reliability, and production risks
* Can evaluate when AI is the right solution and when it is not
* Takes full responsibility for AI-generated code shipped to production
Simply using ChatGPT occasionally is not the level of AI experience we are looking for.
Nice to Have
* Experience in FinTech, payments, banking, or insurance
* Experience with enterprise or regulated products
* Experience working with financial or sensitive data
* Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLMs into production
* Experience modernizing legacy systems
