Mobile Application Developer (iOS/Android)

Part-time: approximately 70–130 hours per month. Workload varies by project phase; payment is based on actual hours worked.

ODVEM is recruiting a React Native Developer for an iOS and Android mobile reporting application. The planned engagement is part-time over approximately nine months; the start date and workload will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.

Please apply only if you meet all of these requirements:
• You hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognised educational institution at EQF/MQF Level 6 (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Systems. You can provide a copy of the qualification before final selection.
• You can demonstrate your own React Native work for both iOS and Android, including accessible mobile interfaces, operation with intermittent connectivity, GPS integration, and photo capture and upload.
• You have experience protecting locally stored application data, integrating with backend APIs, communicating in English, and can commit approximately 70–130 hours per month throughout the project.

You will build and test the user-facing mobile application in React Native and TypeScript, implement offline drafts and synchronisation, integrate location and photo features, and collaborate with the backend developer on APIs and data protection. Platform-specific native code may be used where needed. Familiarity with public-sector or regulated IT requirements is an advantage.

This role is fully remote. No travel or in-person attendance is required.
