.NET Mid/Senior Backend Developer (SQL, Oracle)

We are looking for Mid to Senior Backend Developers with strong C#/.NET and SQL skills to join a delivery team building and evolving business-critical software for the manufacturing industry.

Project
A long-term engagement for a UK-based manufacturing client, focused on production planning and resource management systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and data-intensive features using C# and .NET
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures
• Work with Oracle databases where required, including integration and data migration tasks
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Maintain high code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support stable, reliable releases

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in backend development (Mid) or 5+ years (Senior)
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+ or .NET Framework)
• Solid knowledge of SQL, including query optimization and database design
• Experience with Oracle is a plus
• Experience in manufacturing projects is a strong advantage
• Experience with MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) systems would be extremely useful
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher
