Business Analyst(Consultant)

ZentixSoft is looking for an experienced Business Analyst for a project-based / hourly engagement (Remote).

🧩 What You Will Be Doing:

• Discovery & Requirements: Participate in the Discovery phase, conduct interviews with client stakeholders and technical experts, and define business constraints and use cases.
• Product Data Analysis: Investigate legacy data structures (SQL, Access, Excel), identify issues with attribution, duplicates, taxonomies, and Golden Record rules.
• Process Modeling: Document supplier onboarding, catalog harmonization, and cross-system data synchronization processes (As-Is / To-Be in BPMN/UML).
• Integration Specifications: Detail requirements for ETL/ELT flows and integrations across PIM, MDM, ERP, and E-commerce platforms.
• Backlog Management: Write clear, comprehensive User Stories with crisp Acceptance Criteria for the dev and data engineering teams.
• AI Solution Evaluation: Help analyze the effectiveness of AI/LLM applications for automated attribute mapping vs. traditional validation rules.

🎓 What We Expect:

Must-have:

• BA Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex IT projects involving integrations and data processing.
• Data & PIM/MDM Domain: Strong understanding of Master Data Management, Product Information Management, catalog structures, taxonomies, and attribute mapping.
• System Analysis & Integrations: Understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, data transmission standards, and integration interface design.
• English: Fluent / Upper-Intermediate (B2+) — comfortable writing documentation and facilitating sessions with international clients.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with or understanding of Akeneo, Salsify, Pimcore, Stibo Systems, Informatica, or Contentserv ecosystems.
• Knowledge of industry product data standards (e.g., BMEcat, ETIM, GS1).
• Hands-on experience applying AI/LLM tools for text data validation or classification.

• Format: Project-based / Hourly Engagement (part-time advisory role, easily combined with your full-time job).
