We're growing our team and looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer to help us maintain product quality at every stage, from development to release.

What you'll do

  • Test mobile apps and web services at different stages of development

  • Verify that the product works correctly after updates and before releases
  • Test payments, subscriptions, authorization, roles, permissions, and other key scenarios
  • Find, describe, and reproduce bugs, and track their fixes
  • Create and maintain up-to-date test cases and checklists
  • Review requirements and designs before development starts to spot potential issues and inconsistencies
  • Perform API testing and verify client-server interaction
  • Take part in release testing and check the product's readiness for launch
  • Work with developers and the product manager on the issues found and on product quality

Who we're looking for

  • 1+ year of commercial experience testing mobile apps and/or web services
  • Knowledge of testing fundamentals, testing types, and the defect life cycle
  • Understanding of test design techniques and the ability to apply them in practice
  • Experience creating test documentation: test cases, checklists, and bug reports
  • Understanding of client-server architecture and how HTTP works
  • Basic API testing skills with Postman or similar tools
  • Ability to use DevTools to inspect and debug web applications
  • Critical thinking: you analyze the product, go beyond the obvious scenarios, and find potential problems
  • A systematic approach: you structure your checks and don't miss important scenarios
  • Attention to detail: you notice both obvious bugs and inconsistencies in product logic and behavior
  • Independence: you can figure out a task, find the information you need, and choose the best way to test it
  • Communication skills: you describe issues clearly, back up your point of view, and work constructively with the team
  • Ownership of quality: you focus not just on running checks but on the final quality of the product for the user

Nice to have

  • Experience testing iOS apps
  • Experience with Charles, Proxyman, or similar tools
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Experience with Jira, ClickUp, or other task management tools
  • Understanding of how to test payments and subscriptions in mobile apps

What we offer

  • Fully remote work
  • Flexible schedule and a focus on results
  • USD-pegged compensation
  • Compensation reviews based on performance
  • Paid vacation and sick leave
  • Work in a product team with direct communication with developers and product managers
  • The opportunity to grow professionally along with our products and gradually expand your area of responsibility
