About the Role
We're looking for a technically strong Senior QA Engineer who combines solid manual testing expertise with hands-on test automation skills. You'll own quality across ElevateOS: our resident mobile app, property management web platform, APIs and smart home integrations.
We believe that with today's AI tools, a technically skilled QA engineer can build and scale automated end-to-end coverage much faster than before, and that's exactly what we need you to do.
How you'll start
- Onboard to the product and team
- Test 1-2 epics manually to learn the domain and key user flows
- Move on to designing and building automated E2E test scenarios, keeping manual testing focused and efficient so automation keeps moving
What technologies do we use?
Our primary technology stack revolves around JS. We use React for Front-end, Node.js for Backend and React Native for mobile development. All of our projects run on TypeScript, built by Docker and tested with Jest and react-testing-library.
What skills are essential to us?
- 4+ years in QA, at least 2 of them at a senior level
- Strong manual testing skills: web, mobile, API and requirements testing
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated E2E tests (Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO or similar)
- Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript: you can read, write and debug test code
- Active use of AI tools (e.g. Claude, Copilot, Cursor) to generate, refactor and maintain test cases and automation code
- Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and test design techniques
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar), browser DevTools and Git
- Clear test documentation and bug reports
- Upper-intermediate English or higher
Good to have
- Mobile automation (Detox, Appium, Maestro)
- Running tests in CI/CD (CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
- Basic SQL
- Experience testing IoT or smart home integrations
What will your responsibilities include?
- Designing, building and maintaining automated E2E test scenarios for web and mobile
- Using AI tools to speed up test creation and grow automation coverage
- Analyzing requirements and raising questions early
- Manual and exploratory testing of new features where needed
- Verifying multi-device and cross-platform consistency
- Helping shape the QA automation approach and integrating tests into CI
- Taking part in planning and giving quality-focused feedback to the team
