Description

A program of projects within the Energy domain. We will work on various applications covering generation control, distribution control, transmission control, and service crews control. The implementation area of these products is very high-scale (e.g. country-wide systems).

Requirements

Candidate requirements:
– Hands-on Azure and Infrastructure as Code experience, preferably with Terraform.
– Experience reviewing product-owned IaC and deployment pipelines against enterprise platform requirements.
– Ability to conduct technical discovery, readiness assessments, and gap analysis.
– Experience supporting environment onboarding, access validation, pipeline integration, deployment preparation, validation, and troubleshooting.
– Understanding of Azure Landing Zone controls, including identity, networking, policy, monitoring, security, and operational requirements.
– Experience supporting workload migrations while preserving product-team ownership of application code, data, IaC, testing, and production acceptance.
– Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric prerequisites and adoption dependencies is strongly preferred.
– Ability to produce technical findings, remediation plans, checklists, playbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Job responsibilities

Develop and operate reusable ESS Azure Landing Zone capabilities (not application deployment or basic Terraform scope).

• Provide seasoned Azure platform and Terraform expertise.
• Work within the established multi-tiered Terraform architecture.
• Perform authorized platform engineering services.
• Develop and test platform-owned IaC, networking, diagnostics, logging, monitoring, Update Manager,
policy, governance, and automation capabilities.
• Maintain assigned delivery records and participate in reviews and planning.
• Document completed work and communicated progress, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Support demonstrations, releases, operations, and knowledge transfer.
