Project Manager

We're building the operational core of a fintech company currently going through licensing with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) — Payment Institution / EMI status.

We need a Project Manager to own the entire licensing process from the inside: coordinating lawyers, compliance, and finance; tracking every document and deadline; and later leading the product's operational launch.

This role requires, without exception:
📍 Full professional fluency in Polish — you'll be the one talking to KNF, lawyers, and Polish government bodies directly, in Polish
🗣️ Conversational English
📄 Legal right to work in Poland and readiness for full-time employment under a Polish employment contract (umowa o pracę)
📌 On-site or hybrid in Warsaw — this is not a remote role.

What you'll actually do:
▪️ Coordinate the KNF licensing package across legal, compliance, and finance
▪️ Track internal AML/KYC, audit, and compliance procedures through to sign-off
▪️ Be the connective tissue between departments as we build the team from scratch
▪️ Lead the operational launch once the licence is granted

Nice to have: prior experience in fintech, banking, or another regulated industry; experience working directly with a financial regulator.
