About the Role:
We are looking for a Data Engineer / Data Infrastructure Engineer to contribute to the development of our product, focusing on SQL query optimization, database performance, and improving data processing infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve data infrastructure using Python and SQL.
- Optimize SQL queries and improve database performance.
- Work with large datasets and data processing systems.
- Analyze query execution, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
- Work with different computing environments and database systems.
- Contribute to building scalable and reliable technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong practical experience with Python.
- Advanced SQL knowledge.
- Commercial experience working with databases.
- Understanding of SQL query execution and optimization.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Understanding of database architecture and distributed systems.
- Ability to analyze and optimize system performance.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MySQL, or other SQL databases.
- Apache Spark / PySpark.
- DuckDB.
- Databricks or Airflow.
- AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Apache Iceberg.
- Experience with high-load or distributed systems.
